In this position you will be focused on developing and maintaining accurate and efficient operations in fabrication and weld thru planning and execution. Plus, coordination with all areas of production to meet order fulfillment schedule. This position is also responsible for managing and training assigned production workforce employees.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Be able to read, write and understand English
  • Must possess a basic knowledge of print reading, measurements and welding symbols to ensure that parts are produced correctly.
  • Must possess a mechanical aptitude to perform maintenance type duties
  • Willing and able to work in a fast paced environment, seeking quick learner
  • Previous welding experience (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

JOB SUMMARY

Production Welder position is a key position in the operations workflow. A Production Welder welds or tack welds metal parts together, using spot welding gun or hand, electric, or gas welding equipment. Use of weld fixtures, proper identification of parts & materials, proper material preparation, and accurate interpretation of prints and instructions are a must.

  • Read MO (Manufacturing Orders) to identify, gather, and arrange components
  • Execute MO operations according to print including tack, weld, torch, and clean
  • Complete MO paperwork including quality check and count
  • Review all outgoing products as Quality Check vs print
  • Complete all required paperwork for inventory movement
  • Maintain, organize, and clean all paint tools and workflow area
  • Safely operate weld machine, torch, grinder, lift, forklift, and pallet jack
  • Other duties as assigned in support of operations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs
  • Be able to read, write and understand English
  • Must possess a basic knowledge of print reading, measurements and welding symbols to ensure that parts are produced correctly.

Product Assembly is directed by Finished Goods Workflow and may be assigned a variety of tasks to support operations schedule.

JOB SUMMARY

Stock Control & Fulfillment position is key to proper inventory tracking in the F2F and Supply Chain to Operations to Order Fulfillment process. This position is responsible for timely and accurate receipt of all incoming materials including PO receipt management, quality check, Inventory Stock Control of components and material movement to operations. Finally, whole goods inventory and execution of shipments in coordination with Order Fulfillment schedule and Operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stock Control movement for inbound & outbound materials with documentation.
  • Verify & receive supplies, materials, equipment, and components to Purchase Order.
  • Stock to inventory or Route to process including weld, paint, assembly, or platers.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and organization for Finished Goods and Repair Parts (F2F).
  • Prepare, kit, package, and load product for shipment.
  • Quality check and response for all incoming components and materials.
  • Review all outgoing products as final Quality Check.
  • Complete all required paperwork for inventory movement.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness in F2F, warehouses and shipping area.
  • Coordination with Production Workflow to meet production schedule.
  • Interface with operations personnel on material status and production planning issues.
  • Coordination with Supply Chain – PO Pick-up, Receipt, Quality, and MiSys Feedback.
  • Coordination with Order Fulfillment / Logistics to meet shipping schedule.
  • Liaison for Operations and Supply Chain sourcing requirements/ opportunities.
  • Manage Order Fulfillment schedule in coordination with Operations.
  • Management of Freight Partners, Shipping Resources, and DOT Requirements.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Specialist – Expert in their position or role, self-starter. Completes complex and specialized projects. Can multi-task and coordinate, accountable for quality. Provides tutorial assistance and can present recommendations as needed.
  • Supervisor – Has authority to give instructions, held accountable for work, actions, and productivity of assigned teams.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 75-pound component parts and various other items.
